When designing the Lieutenant’s last, we drew inspiration from Alden’s renowned Modified Last. Originally developed for corrective footwear, the Modified Last is celebrated for its ergonomic design, which perfectly mimics the foot's natural arch and shape, enhancing the ease of movement. We’ve taken this concept and refined it further, adjusting the toe shape to complement a broader range of foot types, particularly those of Asian wearers, ensuring an even better fit.

Beyond the expertly shaped last and meticulously cut leather panels, the outsole of the Lieutenant offers both style and functionality. We understand the importance of choice, so the Lieutenant is available with either a rubber sole or a leather sole, catering to different preferences and occasions.
